Mrs. Linda Lee Tarlton
Mrs. Linda Lee Tarlton, 61, of Wadesboro, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at her home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2010, in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Teddy Lawson officiating. Interment will follow in Lilesville Cemetery.
The family will greet friends Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the home.
Linda was born March 3, 1949, in Anson County, N.C., a daughter of Violet Usrey Lee and the late John Austin Lee. She was the Director of 911 Communications for Anson County Sheriff’s Department and a member of Lilesville Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Joe M. Tarlton of the home; her son and daughter-in-law, Little Joe and Kelly Tarlton of Chesterfield, S.C.; her granddaughter, Brianna; her mother, Violet Lee of Wadesboro; her brother-in-law, Mike Alossi of China, her niece, Dena Alossi McDonald and husband Eric of Raleigh; her nephew, Khaled Alossi of Houston, Texas; and her great-nephew and niece, Jack and Layla McDonald of Raleigh. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Berta Carol Alossi.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, N.C., 28110; or to Anson Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 147, Wadesboro, N.C., 28170.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to everyone for the overwhelming support and love shown to Linda and the family during her time of illness and their time of bereavement.
