Kathy Larnese Lockhart, 60, of Wadesboro, died Thursday, February 18, 2010, at Heritage Hills Living Center.
     Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 25, 2010, in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Nathaniel Floyd officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park.
     The family will greet friends Wednesday, February 24, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
     Kathy was born October 15, 1949, in Union County, N.C., a daughter of Clara Lockhart and the late Ray Barnes. She was educated in Union County Schools where she attended the Winchester Schools and then graduated from Monroe High School.
     She had worked with Tyson Foods and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, Wadesboro.
     Surviving are her son, Michael Hosley and fiance' Michelle of Wadesboro; grandchildren, Crysta, Taylor, and Maddison; her mother, Clara Lockhart of Monroe; her brother, Norris Lockhart and wife Ann of Monroe; her niece and nephew, Norris Lockhart, Jr. and Noria Lockhart, both of Monroe, and their families.
     Also surviving are her special friends, John Hosley and the Hanna family; Evelyn Carpenter, Maxine Hanna and Katie Innis, and other relatives and friends.
     In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Roche Norris Marsh.
